Cave Researchers team takes part in rescue operation


ISLAMABAD: An eleven-member team of the Pakistan Cave Research Association (PCRA) and Chiltan Adventure Association of Balochistan (CAAB) joined hands with teams from other countries carried out search and rescue operations in Balakot, one of the worst-hit areas of the October 8 earth quake in Pakistan, The team  also visited various relief camps established in the area  and provided  relief goods and cash money to the affectees in Balakot and shinkyari district of NWFP. The PCRA and CAAB Search and Rescue team was led by as commander Mr. Hayatullah Khan Durrani ( Internationally renowned mountaineer and Cave Explorer ) the team also includes Malik Abdul Rahim Babai Team Chairman and Ms Rahilla Durrani, a member of the Balochistan Assembly,

 

(a)-Search and Rescue Squad Members participated in Operation in Ballakot, Shinkyari Districts (NWFP) of 8th, October, 2005 Earth Quake effected areas of Pakistan.

RESCUE AND RELIEF WORK At:-29th October 2008 Earthquake Ziarat.

                  The Rescue and Relief squad of caab, pcra and hdwsa headed by Hayatullah Khan Durrani visited the Killi Waam and other mounted small villages the most effected area of 29th October 2008 Ziarat Earthquake. They camp over there for five days/ nights and distributed food stuff, blankets and warm clothe among effected Survivors outside their collapsed houses. most of the food stuff for this relief operation was provided by the Pakistan Customs Modern Collectorate Quetta.

                  During the past many years the rescue squad of caab, pcra and hdwsa recovered death bodies of different young boys from Thorkhazai dame Loralai, Mannah dame Duki, Khoshal hotelb Killi Hanna chashma.
